Like a car, regular servicing ensures all the components are working together well and meet the manufactures warranty conditions. It also makes sure that you are getting the most out your product in terms of performance, efficiency, and failure prevention. More often than not, you will not be unaware of a potential issue occurring with the system, or lost efficiency. Our team of experts have the right tools and software carry out a full system diagnosis which will reveal any faults.
Details of our works will be clearly written in our annual service document and send to you for your records. Should we fine any problems we will let you know and provide the most effective solutions to put your head back back into good working order.
Whether you have been a customer of ours forever, or are new, we visually inspect the whole system upon arrival. This makes sure all the products, components, and sensor readings are correct. If we find any issues during the visual inspection, we will make you aware before we continue the service.
Cleaning the outdoor unit is often missed in a service, not by us. We believe in going the extra mile in ensuring your products stays in box fresh condition. Further to this, cleaning the evaporator coil of dirt, debris, or build-up, is incredibly important. This is the location where the heat is absorbed from the external air, and keeps your house warm. If it’s blocked or dirty, it will affect the heat transfer, poor performance, and component failure.
Annual filter and strainer cleaning is a fundamental part of the annual service. Correct cleaning of the component(s) ensures the water moves freely within the heating and hot water circuits at the designed flow rate. If the filtration components are not cleaned annually, it can affect system performance, running cost, and even cause major component failures. Heating systems can vary in complexity and may have more than one filtration component. Our team of experts will pick up in their diagnostics if the flow rate of the water is not correct and then work to find the restriction. If you know of a filtration component hidden away somewhere, please let our team know.
The refrigerant circuit is the primary source of heating and hot water. With our software we can connect directly to your heat pump and determine if the refrigerant circuit is operating correctly. We also do physical leak checks, regardless of whether it is mandated under the F-Gas regulations or not, to confirm there are no refrigerant escapes – protecting your system the environment!
Our diagnostic checker allows us to check in with your system and make sure all the sensors are reading correctly. We will also complete any firmware updates, which are only available by directly connecting with your system, this ensures your system remains up to date.
Our custom-built service report has a detailed breakdown of all our system checks, inspections, and any necessary amendments. We will send this on to you following your service each year, and keep a record on file. This means we always have a full history how your system has been operating. If you ever lose your service report, please let one of our team know, we’ll be happy to send out a new copy.
